eh?

Design can be subjective, but access should be universal. My creative expression seeks to simplify complex systems through clear, balanced graphic design. I aim for design that’s functional, surprising and sparks a smile or conversation. I pride myself on awareness for trends with a seasoned ability to blend this with user needs into thoughtful experiences. I have grown from pure execution to creative direction and product definition.

I’m energetic in my approach to life and design—I care deeply about balance, team vibe and the health of people around me. I listen to constraint, but actively question it. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be creative.

Google San Francisco
Staff Visual Designer
In my google career I've lead visual design for Voice Search, Google Now “Cards”, drew Material Designs foundational DNA and it’s Android K release, this work has shaped the look and feel of Google. Today I'm a member of the UX Hiring Committee and helped evolve their rubrics in 2018. As an individual contributor I’m a practical designer that draws extensively and take time to mentor people, processes, and priorities.
